Positive: We had a fantastic week in this beautiful villa in Saint-Ouen-les-Vignes. The location was perfect for us: very close to Amboise, around 5 km away, and very convenient for visiting the main châteaux of the Loire Valley, including Chenonceau, Chambord, Clos Lucé, Villandry and many other charming places in the area. The house itself is lovely, spacious and full of character. It has the charm of a traditional stone house, but also all the comfort needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen and dining area are very pleasant, well equipped and perfect for a larger family or group. The living spaces felt warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed spending time together in the house after our daily trips. What makes the property really special is the domain around the house. The yard is large, green and peaceful, with many trees, places to relax and a small stream crossing the property. It is a wonderful place to slow down, enjoy nature and feel the atmosphere of the Loire Valley. The host was very kind and hospitable. We felt very well taken care of and truly enjoyed the house and the surroundings. As a personal touch, my daughter, who studies art, even made a small drawing of the house as a gift for the host — this shows how much we appreciated the place. We would definitely recommend this accommodation for families or groups who want a quiet, authentic and comfortable base in the Loire Valley.
