Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We were looking for a hotel in Castelnaudary while cycling along the Canal du Midi. This Ibis Styles is comfortable, nicely decorated (specially if you are a Rugby fan!), and the rooms are cosy. The breakfast offers a good variety, and the restaurant is a great option for tapas-style dining at reasonable prices. We were pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the hotel, especially for a chain traditionally considered budget-friendly. A big plus: it offers a bike parking.

Negative: The only downside was that the jacuzzi wasn’t operational, even though the website states it opens in April. We would have loved to relax there after our ride!
