Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was perfect, on the edge of Les Portes-en-Re right opposite a bike hire shop. The restaurant/bar downstairs was great as well and only five minutes walk to the village square. Quiet room with air con and free on-site parking.

Negative: Booking.com said check in was 5pm but when we arrived at lunchtime, we hoped we’d be able to check in a little earlier but were in fact told we couldn’t check in until 6pm. A hairdryer would have also been good.

Summary: Good value room in an excellent location.
