Travel Purpose: business

Positive: I had the yellow room and it was huge with a sitting area in the main room and a very large shower and bathroom. It was well maintained and the furnishings were high quality. The air conditioning was appreciated since I was there during a major heatwave. The wooden shutters helped to block the sun during the day and the street sounds which are minimal during the night after the restaurants close. I also loved the location. It's a quieter area of the city but there are plenty of restaurants and very close to St. Michel square. The F train stop is just 1.5 blocks away so getting to and from the airport or to other parts of the city is very easy. I was also not the easiest guest when I first arrived because I was a bit jet-lagged and did not read all of the check-in instructions carefully. Paul was very patient with me and also prioritized getting my room ready when an arrived before the official check-in time. It was a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay again on my next visit to Bordeaux.
